Cutting instructions, near the bottom of page 1:
From the border fabric cut:
twelve squares, 6 1/4" and cut each square on both diagonals to yield 48 quarter-square triangles for the sawtooth border.

SENTIMENTAL GARDEN quilt pattern
Page 1, cutting instructions
From the cream tone-on-tone floral print cut:
twelve 5 1/4" squares, crosscut on both diagonals to give 48 triangles for the flying geese units.
Note that these are 5 1/4" squares, not 5 1/2" squares.
