Washing instructions for all handknit shawls:
Wash in lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not sub or twist.
Rinse in clean likewarm water.
Squeeze out the excess water.
Lay flat on a towel (or 2) and gently open it out roguthly to shape. Roll up the towel and press to remove more weater into the towel.
Lay on a protected flat surface and pin out to shape. Leave until it's completely dry. I use children's foam play blocks (the sort used for flooring and available at Clarke's Rubber or KMart) because the pins remain firm in the foam and I can block fairly tight to really open up the lace.
